The Dog Days Of Summer

Baseball great Ted Williams was known for taking batting practice tell he had blisters covering his hands. With all that practice it’s no wonder Williams is one of the greatest hitters of all time.  Since then ball players from little league to the professional level use batting gloves to avoid blisters. It’s rare to see a player up at the plate without them.

When taking swings at practice or during a game blisters and cuts can become an annoyance even when using gloves. Gloves have a short life span and can tear only after a few bats leaving the hands exposed to the bat’s handle.

Blisters and other hand injuries can affect a players swing leading to decreased performance at the plate.  Players try to ignore these blisters thinking it’s just part of the game thus pushing through the pain and practice tell they get their swing right. This approach is unnecessary when using the right kind of batting glove.

The MitiGator cushioning system developed by Sea Systems Group has a number of designs and thicknesses that can accommodate batting gloves. The MitiGator is resistant to cracking, rotting, and tearing making it durable under extreme conditions. MitiGator batting gloves can provide improved grip and performance while protecting the players hands during play.

The MitiGator can be applied to other baseball equipment including: baseball helmets,  catching equipment, cleat insoles, etc.  Athletes are always looking for an edge to put them over the top. MitiGator batting gloves can give professional hitters that needed edge to make solid contact and get on base.

The MitiGator™ Technology is an engineered cushioning system designed to protect people and equipment from these assaults and to allow them to continue to perform their jobs or enjoy their leisure time. The MitiGator™ uses patented air control technology working with over 4,000 surfaces per square foot to dissipate energy before it is transmitted to the body and thus help alleviate the problems.
